Riverview 4th Marking Period Instructional Updates
On Monday, March 15, the Riverview School Board approved a change to the Riverview School District Phased School Reopening Health and Safety Plan to offer a 5-day, 100% in-person instruction option as well as a 100% virtual option for students.
This amended plan eliminates the “hybrid” option that allowed for a split schedule of both in-person and virtual learning.
The addendum to the Phased School Reopening Plan is set to be enacted on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 and remain for the rest of the 2020-21 school year. Please note this plan is subject to change as the situation evolves surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.
Social distancing and mask-wearing requirements will remain in effect, as well as a continued focus on cleaning and sanitation.
We have adopted an Emergency Notification Service which allows us to send a telephone message to student homes providing important information about school events or emergencies. We are using this system to notify parents of school delays or cancellations due to inclement weather. In the event of an emergency at school, parents can have peace of mind knowing that they will be informed immediately by phone.
Unplanned School Closings, Delays,
or Early DismissalsOn any given day, parents and staff are urged to use caution when making the decision to drive or walk over snow and ice covered roads.
