Ms. Lubert comes to the Director or Finance and Operations position with over 20 years of experience. She has previously served as the Business Manager for several Districts in our region, including the South Side Area School District, Shaler Area School District and South Allegheny School District.
Ms. Lubert is honored to be joining the Central office team to serve the students, families and communities of Oakmont and Verona. She is the proud mother of two children (Marcus and Hannah) and is humbled to serve as Riverview’s sixth Business Manager.

Dr. David Turk, Ed.D.
Director of Academics and Facilities
Riverview School District is proud to announce that Dr. David Turk has stepped into the role of Director of Academics and Facilities—a unique district-level leadership position that combines academic direction with full operational oversight of facilities.
Dr. Turk most recently served as the Junior High Principal at Riverview Junior-Senior High School. During his time in that role, he was committed to strengthening school culture, supporting student achievement, and fostering meaningful collaboration among staff, students, and families.
Dr. Turk began his career in education at Perry High School in Pittsburgh Public Schools, where he worked as a building substitute teacher and coach. He also spent two summers serving as a teacher and counselor at The Academy Schools. He then continued his career at Ambridge Area High School, where he spent eight years as a teacher and coach before transitioning into administration.
During his time in the Ambridge Area School District, Dr. Turk held a variety of leadership roles, including middle school assistant principal, high school assistant principal, athletic director, facilities coordinator, and AEDY coordinator—often serving in multiple roles simultaneously. He also gained valuable experience serving as middle school principal and athletic director at the start of the 2021–2022 school year. These experiences helped shape his leadership style, emphasizing collaboration, communication, and consistency.
A dedicated educator since 2009, Dr. Turk earned his Doctorate of Education (Ed.D.) from PennWest California in 2023. He also holds a Master of Education in K–12 Principalship from California University of Pennsylvania (now PennWest California) and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Slippery Rock University, where he graduated magna cum laude.
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Dr. Turk enjoys spending time with his family. He is married and the proud father of three children—Junie, Henry, and Teddy. He has been involved in weight training since the age of 13 and has participated in various competitions.
Dr. Turk joined the Administrative team in 2022.
