Welcome to my site. I graduated from Riverview High School way back in 1978. I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a double major in English Literature and History. I went on to get my teaching certification at the University of New Mexico and taught English in Santa Fe, New Mexico for four years. I then taught Social Studies In Charlotte, North Carolina for three years. I returned to my Alma Mater in 1999-2000 school year and have been teaching English here ever since
I have created a Newsletter blog located on the sidebar for each class which you are welcome to read. They will be updated once or twice a week and will let you know what is going on in my class and what assignments are coming due. In the Documents sidebar I will post worksheets, notes, links, PowerPoints and other materials so you can see the kind of work we are doing. If your child should forget her work, she can download it from here. Also, if your child has been absent, you or your child can find out what we have been doing and download some of the material from class so the student can come back to school prepared.
