Mrs. Shawn Ogrodowski joined the Riverview teaching team in 2000 after having taught fifth grade language arts at David Cox Elementary, a language-arts magnet school, in sunny Charlotte, North Carolina. During her time at Riverview, she has taught 3rd grade, 5th grade, and K-6 enrichment. She currently teaches 6th grade language arts.
Mrs. Ogrodowski holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Westminster College and a Master of Education Degree in Administrative Policy from the University of Pittsburgh. During her time at Pitt, she earned her K-12 Principal Certification and Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction certification. She is also a writing fellow with the Western Pennsylvania Writing Project.
