Riverview Model UN wins Best Small Delegation Award, Many More at Michigan Conference!

The weekend of January 12-15 saw eight members of the Riverview Model UN team travel to the University of Michigan for to participate in their 36th annual conference. The weekend brought together over 850 students from 35 schools across the Midwest.  It was the first time that the Riverview team attended the MUNUM conference (Model United Nations at the University of Michigan) and it ended up being a great learning and team-building experience for the group.  All members of the team worked diligently throughout the weekend to ensure a chance at recognition for the team.  Their dedication was rewarded in the form of a Best Small Delegation Award at the conference, recognizing the Riverview Team as the best small team at competition and therefore winning the conference. The eight members of the team who traveled to the University of Michigan were seniors Naomi Girson and Joey Inzinga; juniors Lola Abraham, Callie Harden, Georgia, Tsambis, and Brandon Williams, and sophomores Carter Loughren and Drew Ogrodowski.  This is the second Best Small Delegation Award at a weekend conference for our team this school year.
