3/8 – MIDDLE SCHOOL MOCK TRIAL
The middle school mock trial team entered two very competitive teams this year. The defense team consisted of Jack Harden, Jake Shoop, Nick Catanzaro, Emily PIetragallo, Thanny Black, Mikaela Collins, and Lauren Hornsby, while Tenaeja Sheffey, Annie Betler, Gillian Gaynor, Zach Hanlon, Will Franciscus, Val Fiore, and Rachel Moret, Beth Shoop, Olivia Rossi,and Marina Pietz represented the plaintiffs. The defense lost a close decision to Dorseyville Middle School, but Lauren Hornsby was named best advocate while Mikaela Collins was best witness. For the plaintiffs, Olivia Rossi was named best advocate and Marina Pietz was best witness in their win over Carson Middle School of North Allegheny.
