On Friday, March 1, the Junior High celebrated our February group of Recognizing Raiders under the theme of positive attitude! We also recognized our January Student of the Month, Natalie Kingera, who picked up 3 points for her homeroom!
Homerooms also participated in our annual snowperson competition. Students wrapped one student from each homeroom in toilet paper and used decorations that they prepared and brought in to bring their snowperson to life! We were extremely impressed by the collaboration, planning efforts, and creativity of each homeroom. In the end, Mrs. Evanchec's "Flaming Hot Cheetos" secured fourth place (1 point), Mrs. Morgans’s "Grandma" came in third place (3 points), while Mr. Biehl's "Animal Farm" snowperson came in second place (4 points). With a roaring crowd vote, Mrs. Reck's Spring Snowperson was the ultimate champion (5 points).
Well done to everyone involved! We are looking forward to our 3rd Nine Weeks Tournament and March Town Hall on Friday, March 22! Our March Recognizing Raiders theme is resilience, extra effort, hard work, and perseverance.
