Back on Dec. 14, Riverview Jr-Sr High had its first Book Buddies Trip of the season! K-3 teachers at Tenth Street and at Verner brought their classes to the library to be read to by students from the Jr-Sr High School in 7th and 8th grade, as well as players from the High School Football Team!
Everyone colored a bookmark to keep as a souvenir to remember our Book Buddies time. The elementary students were mesmerized and excited to hear what the older students had to say. It
was heartwarming to see, all centered around the love and importance of reading in a fun, interactive setting!
It was another successful trip! Keep an eye out for another trip in the Spring!
