Sienna Daley represented Riverview School District this year at the PMEA Jr. High District Orchestra Festival, held this year April 28th and 29th at McKeesport Area High School. At the festival, Sienna auditioned and placed well in the top of the first violin section. The two day festival included students from more than 45 school districts in the Allegheny, Fayette, Greene, Washington, and Westmoreland Counties. This year the festival was conducted by Dr. Warren Davidson. Dr. Davidson was music director of the Pittsburgh Civic Orchestra for 12 seasons and has performed with the Wheeling, Altoona, McKeesport, Butler, and Westmoreland Symphonies, as well as with the Pittsburgh Ballet Orchestra. Dr. Davidson has performed in orchestras or in recital in Italy, Croatia, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan.
