
On Wednesday, Oct. 26, the Riverview Model UN Team opened its season with an amazing day at the University of Pittsburgh. The 18 members of the Riverview team were well prepared to negotiate and discuss world issues with the over 250 students in attendance from 18 schools.
The team's preparation showed as it won 14 total awards at the conference. Members of the team won 13 individual awards on the day and the team itself was recognized as the Second Place Outstanding Delegation for its portrayal as the United States at the conference! The individual members winning awards are listed below. Congratulations to all members of the team for an impressive start to the 2022-2023 Model UN season -- you make us all so proud!
The team is next in action at the Princeton University Model UN Conference Nov. 17-20 and locally at the University of Pittsburgh Model European Union Dec. 7.
