Riverview Students Set Records at Equations Academic Games, Qualify for Nationals
In Riverview’s best-ever performance at the annual Equations Academic Games competition, two students qualified for nationals and three others made honorable mention and are on the bubble for nationals!

At the middle level, Ashton Saunders scored a 15 and had the third highest score for Riverview. Juliette Brun scored 16 points which is a national qualifying score and makes Juliette the first ever Riverview student to qualify for nationals in both a cube event and a reader event. Finally, in an amazing performance, 7th grader Anthony Tsambis had the highest Equations total ever for a Riverview student with 17 points out of a possible 18. Anthony qualified for nationals in his first ever participation in Equations. In addition, 9th grade team also had a very strong showing, with Korbin Cooper leading the way with 15 points and Emily Chen with 14.  Both Korbin and Emily are on the bubble for national qualification.

Congratulations to all of our intelligent students! You all make Riverview Proud!
