National History Day Regional Competition
Seventy-one Riverview ninth and tenth grade honors history students participated in the annual National History Day competition on Sunday, March 16, 2025. History Day requires students to create projects built upon a national theme. The 2025 theme is Rights and Responsibilities in History. Students can choose to design their projects in one of five formats: Documentaries, Exhibits, Historical Papers, Performances, or Websites. Riverview entered 38 projects into the competition and 17 of those projects (33 total students) were recognized with awards and have the opportunity to participate in the state competition at the University of Scranton on the weekend of April 12 -13.
