A Message From The Riverview Teachers

Hello Riverview students and families!

We are sure you are disappointed that we won’t be seeing one another in person as soon as we had thought and we assure you, we share your disappointment!  As is always the case, our students’ health and safety is our top priority.  We are willing to wait a little longer to see you all again in person if that means everyone will be safer.  We stand behind the District’s decision to delay the in-person aspect of this school year.  Since there are still concerns about this virus spreading and uncertainty about when it may subside, we feel it is the right thing to do at this time.

That doesn’t mean we won’t be seeing you though!  We will offer daily face-to-face teaching in our regular classroom subjects and special areas in addition to the other school services regularly provided.  We have been working diligently all summer to improve our virtual instruction, knowledge, and skills.  We are confident that we will be better prepared to offer a well-rounded, personal educational experience for each of our students in the 2020-2021 school year.  Our goal is to make this experience as much like a “normal” school day as possible so that when we are able to safely return to the buildings, it will be like we were never gone at all!

Let’s stay positive and give this our best effort!  We are doing our part to prepare for the virtual start of the school year and we hope you will do your part to be responsible, conscientious, supportive and optimistic as we go through this together!

We are excited for the start of the school year!

Sincerely,

The Riverview Teaching Staff
