
On Sunday, March 19, 62 Riverview students in the ninth and tenth grade honors history classes participated in the annual regional National History Day competition at the Senator John Heinz Regional History Museum. Students participating in the National History Day competition create projects that focus on a national theme. The 2023 theme is "Frontiers in History", and students can choose to work as an individual or group and create projects that are entered in the documentary, exhibit, website, performance, or historical paper category.
Half of the Riverview group (31 students) placed at the competition and can participate in the State Finals at the University of Scranton on April 22-23. The students who have qualified for the state finals are:
