During the week of June 10-13, Riverview rising sophomores Juliette Brun, Hannah Hudack, and Ryland Ogrodowski traveled to the University of Maryland to compete in the culminating step of the yearlong National History Day competition. They presented their senior group performance entitled "The Treaty that Built Europe" (a project about the Treaty of Westphalia in 1648) and became the first Riverview students ever to earn a callback for the final round at the national competition.
We are pleased to report that Hannah, Juliette, and Ryland finished 6th in the entire country with their creative and "well-polished" performance. Congratulations ladies, the Riverview community is very proud of your accomplishment.
