March Town Hall: Snowball Fun and Celebrating Effort & Resilience!

Junior High students said "goodbye" to winter with our snowball activity during the March Town Hall. We kicked off the event by recognizing our student of the month, Eli Folaron, and then continued by recognizing our March Recognizing Raiders. The theme for March was extra effort, resilience, perseverance, and work ethic (a list of our Recognizing Raiders and prize winners is at the conclusion of this post). 

 

After recognizing students, each homeroom was given 5 tickets. These tickets could be traded in for snowballs to throw into our Spring bin or could be traded for points or a pull from the mystery bag. Each homeroom calculated the risk and crafted their game plan. We then watched students meet their fate from the mystery bag and/or tosses into our bin!

 

Mrs. DeLuca's homeroom earned the most points from the activity; they secured a total of 8 points and sunk the three snowballs they tossed in the bin! Mrs. Della Sala's homeroom was a close second, earning 5 points from the activity!

 

We are looking forward to our next Town Hall on April 11, where we will celebrate our creative group of Recognizing Raiders!
