The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) has awarded Riverview School District with a “Best Communities for Music Education” award for 2020!
The award program recognizes outstanding efforts by teachers, administrators, parents, students and community leaders who have made music education part of a well-rounded education. Designations are made to districts and schools that demonstrate an exceptionally high commitment and access to music education.
We submitted numerous items to NAMM for consideration, including a description of our current music offerings, the resources we put into the program and supporting data. After careful review, Riverview was selected as one of the nationwide winners.
