“True Story” shares accounts from 35 educators from around the world (including Mrs. Poth!) about their own experiences being impacted by “That One Kid” in their classes. These heartfelt stories deal with loss and triumph, leading to career-defining experiences.
“I am so proud of this book because I believe it will really impact educators to think about all of those kids that helped us to become better teachers,” said Mrs. Poth. “Some educator stories will make you laugh, cry, shake your head, but above all, think about all of those kids we have learned so much from or who we can learn from.”
Mrs. Poth is also the author of four other books: “In Other Words: Quotes That Push Our Thinking,” “Unconventional Ways to Thrive in EDU,” “The Future is Now: Looking Back to Move Ahead” and “Chart A New Course: A Guide to Teaching Essential Skills for Tomorrow’s World."
