On Tuesday December 16, 2014 a quintet from the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra came to play for the students at Verner Elementary School. The quintet played many songs for our children and Mr. Shoaf had the great opportunity to narrate Peter and the Wolf while the quintet played. Each member of the quintet explained their instruments and how they worked to the students and provided a great overview of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. The kids really enjoyed the performance and we look forward to continuing the great partnership with the PSO in the future.
