To honor Veteran's Day

Each year on Veteran’s Day the Recent American History class takes a field trip to the war memorial in Oakmont to observe Veteran’s Day. We go during our history classes, talk about the memorial and the symbolism of the memorial, and about the meaning of Veteran’s Day. It has become an important tradition for us to make this visit to the memorial.
