BotsIQ team had an awesome weekend - best performance ever
Led by seniors Jerry Lyons, Aidan Hill, and Kyle Moore, and juniors Ben Rushin, Brian Rossi, and Ian Kobal, the BotsIQ team completed their most successful tournament in program history, finishing 6th out of 36 teams at the Southwest PA prelims. The team’s robot, “Spinal Fusion”, won four bouts defeating Charleroi, Serra Catholic, and Connellsville, and totally destroying the robot from Greene City Homeschoolers, before receiving a catastrophic blow to the rear wheel from Canon MacMillan and bowing out in the consolation semi-finals. The team will re-group and refine before returning to the final competition at California University of PA on April 8th and 9th.
