Dear Riverview Families,

On March 26, Riverview Administrators sent an email to families providing specific guidelines and information regarding the extension of the District’s Continuity of Education Plan. Extension of the plan will begin on Monday, March 30, 2020, and continue through the end of this crisis. A copy of this letter was also sent via the U.S. mail, and is posted on the District’s website. This plan clearly outlines specific steps and important information regarding instructional delivery, grading expectations, and more. Please make sure you read this letter in its entirety. The Riverview School District will continue to keep our students safe while creating educational opportunities that are meaningful and relevant. If you do not have the ability to view documents or instructions online, please contact your child’s principal.  Thank you for your patience and cooperation during these unprecedented times. Be safe. We will work through this difficult time together!

Good morning Tenth Street Parents and Students:

On Friday, March 13th all of the teachers provided your children with work to complete. Please keep in mind that students are responsible for turning in their work upon their return. As of this morning all work has been either picked up or has been delivered to homes by me. As a backup source for assignments, I have created an online link with EVERY teacher's plan for the next two weeks. Here is the link for all the assignments:  http://www.rsd.k12.pa.us/AtHome.aspx

Lunches and breakfasts for all students age 18 and under can be picked up at the Verner Elementary School (700 1st St, Verona, PA 15147) from 11am to 1pm from Monday-Friday while schools are closed. If you are picking up these bagged meals, please be prepared to provide your child's pin code to staff upon arrival.

All Riverview School District buildings will be closed to the public on Thursday, March 19th as we do our part to mitigate the effects of the virus on our community. Mrs. Allsopp and I will be available to you at all times during this period of uncertainty. The best way to reach Mrs. Allsopp or myself is through email. Mrs. Allsopp can be reached at: [email protected] and I can be reached at [email protected]. You are also welcome to call us as well, but if you don't hear from us in a reasonable amount of time, please follow up with an email as our schedule will fluctuate.

Thank you all for your continued patience and understanding during this challenging time. We’ll get through this together.

All Riverview Employees are to report to work. We thank our employees and our families for their continued cooperation as we proactively work together during this unusual circumstance.
